A consultation is often the best way to begin. We meet to talk through what you are facing, whether clinically, personally, or both, and decide together what kind of support fits.
An initial consultation is usually how we begin. It gives us both space to meet, to talk about what you are facing, the issues you want to work on, and the hopes you carry into the work. After that conversation, I will share my thoughts on how we might work together.
If it feels right for you, we set up a series of appointments. If a different fit would serve you better, whether a referral, a different format, or a different clinician, I will say so.
For individuals and couples, working through illness, transition, medical trauma, grief, intergenerational concerns, or relational change.
Begin a conversation →For therapists navigating illness, disclosure, or continuity-of-care questions in their own practice. Relational, case-based, confidential.
Begin a conversation →For supervisors and therapists supporting a colleague whose own illness is affecting their practice, and for training institutes seeking a relational framework for these conversations.
Begin a conversation →The therapeutic relationship is the ground of the work. Sessions are held in confidence, paced to what feels right for you, and shaped by five decades of clinical practice: Gestalt, Internal Family Systems, and Intimacy from the Inside Out.
A held space where what is difficult can be spoken, and slowly worked through.
The work is collaborative. Your inner life and our relationship are integrated.
You leave sessions with a clearer sense of what you are facing and what your next step might be.
The work moves at a pace aligned with your heart and what your nervous system allows. There is no script. There is no rush.
Good work is not rushed. It is accompanied.
Sessions are scheduled by appointment. Reach out and we'll find a time that works.
